Gwen Gilleland - Owner of Up Closets of Birmingham

An experienced accountant and fractional CFO based in Vestavia, Alabama, Gwendolyn (Gwen) Gilleland serves as CFO of the Nashville, Tennessee-based companies, Brand Journalists and Home Run Franchising. Additionally, Gwen Gilleland is the owner of the Up Closets of Birmingham franchise, which specializes in custom closet design and installation. Her territory covers Jefferson and Shelby counties.

Ms. Gilleland obtained her bachelor's in accounting from the University of Alabama and later earned her CPA license in 1996. She has served as an accountant for various organizations throughout Alabama, including Walmart, Coca-Cola United, Background IQ; Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg & Moore; and Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church and DermLab.

Gwendolyn Gilleland serves as a fractional accountant for Vestavia Hills Soccer Club, Hoover Vestavia Soccer, Trussville United Soccer Club, and Hoover Soccer Club. She provides full service accounting for these organizations and prepares financial statements, processes payroll, monitors cash, and manages accounts payables.
